💦 Sport Diving on the Rise: Our Team at the 1st Stage of the 2025 National Circuit

On April 12th, the 1st Stage of the 2025 National Sport Diving Circuit took place in Matosinhos, in an event organized by ATNAS – Technical National Association of Underwater Activities, in partnership with CCD do Porto.

It was with great enthusiasm that our Blue Angels team took part in an official competition of this demanding, challenging, and incredibly fun sport for the very first time.

We brought 5 participants to this debut, with the goal of learning, competing, and growing. Despite a few natural disqualifications for a first-time experience, we achieved some very promising results.

🏆 Highlight Results:

• 50m Lift Bag – Female🥉 3rd Place National: Maria Luísa Leite

• 50m Octopus Team – Male🥉 3rd Place National: Hugo Mendes & Rui Sousa

• 100m Obstacle Course Solo – Female🥉 3rd Place National: Maria Luísa Leite🏅 4th Place National: Manuela Mascarenhas

Blue Angels sincerely thanks the organizing team and referees. With a strong educational approach, they helped us experience this first event safely and with great team spirit, allowing us to take a solid step in developing Sport Diving within our club.
